Fun Family Moments!

To end the month we celebrated Trent's birthday, had a nice visit with Trent' s dad, and cooled off by having a water fight (Lucie instigated that one)!!
Trent had a great birthday...good food, awesome gifts...(thanks everyone!), and I managed to make a good dessert or the dessert that Trent actually wanted (long story!)
Trent's dad stayed a night with us...we had a nice visit and enjoyed the opportunity to see him. Jack warmed up to give a hug (I was too slow with the camera though). Lucie has really taken a liking to Grandpa Schoonmaker the last few times talking to him on the phone and she was able to sit on his lap to eat her breakfast (if you read this grandpa...you made her day and she told everyone). Thanks for stopping by!
Lucie talked Nick into having a water fight with her...of course it quickly spread to the whole family! The temperature dropped ten degrees after getting sprayed with hose water! Lucie was a good sport (overall), especially since there is a bit of a height difference and speed difference between her and Nick. As long as she had a hose in her hand she was cool with getting drenched!

Swimming Lessons

Both Lucie and Jack have taken swimming lessons this summer. Lucie is just finishing her 2nd session.

Grandma Taylor

Egg on the Head

So, Jack being the all boy that he was up for the challenge of having an egg cracked on his head. Of course he wanted to do it because grandpa "egged" him on!! He was very tough and stood with his hands on his hips waiting for it to happen. He took off running once grandpa cracked it, but I think overall he was pretty proud of himself!

Relatives

We have been able to see 2 of Trent's sister's and their families this summer. The Rhees family spent a couple of days in Provo before the 4th of July and the Cranstons spent a night with us on a the 9th of July.
We enjoyed visiting with both of your families...especially since we do not get to see you very often. Thanks for making us a part of your travels!

1st Blog

I have to admit that I was scared to start a blog because of privacy/security reasons, but then Noelle shared a few blogs that her clients have and then I saw a friends blog and decided to check it out. Now, I have to admit that I am quite enjoying posting information and trying to get back in touch with so many family and friends that we do not get to see or talk to very often.
