Family Pictures

We had pictures taken when Mollee was 5 days old. I had scheduled to have Mollee's baby pictures taken and then asked if we could get a quick one of our family and updated ones of Luc, Jack and Ruby.  A friend of Noelle's, Melanie Hunter took the pictures and did an fantastic job!  She was so patient and particular with everything and was able to get a lot of sweet shots.  I feel like she captured my friends and really made their personalities show in the pictures.

Mollee did pretty good for the pictures.  She really loves to be warm and snuggled up in a blanket so it took a bit of time for her to get comfortable in some of these shots.  Melanie was extremely patient and caring with Mollee.

Even at 5 days old you can tell how much Lucie, Jack and Ruby have embraced Mollee.  I love how much you can see their love for her.

This is what Summer's all about...

enjoying a warm Summer day by eating Popsicles and playing on the water slide with friends. Thanks to Nick for setting the water slide up yesterday.

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day by enjoying having Trent at home all morning long!  I am so glad I am feeling better and was able to cook breakfast for Trent. We had baked french toast, fruit and bacon. In the evening we had dinner with my parents. My dad recently purchased a smoker and he cooked up some delicious ribs and brisket.
For dessert we had Glaus double fudge cake.  It has been so long since we have had this cake and it did not disappoint.  The kids all loved the cake too.
This was Lucie's piece.  She wanted a big flower.  That's a lot of cake!
The meat my dad cooked up.
The chocolate cake face!

Mollee's Friends

Mollee you are so lucky to have 3 siblings that are constantly watching out for you. Sometimes they invade your personal space. I feel like I am a broken record at saying back away from her or don't try and pick her up, but they love you and want to be close to you.
Lucie was rocking Mollee and sweetly talking to her.
Lucie holding you and Ruby reading you a story.
Sweetly sleeping.

2 Sets of Hands

Jack was cruising around on the trike with Brig on back. They thought it was so funny that it looked like Jack had four hands when Brig was trying to hide behind him.
They look like twins with the identical haircut!

The Three Stooges

What a Treat

Grandpa and Grandma Schoonie came for a visit last week. They stayed with us from Tuesday-Friday. It was treat week for the kids...both with getting to visit with Gpa and Gma and receiving gifts from them!
First night Grandma gave us a box of chocolates from Rocky Mountain Chocolates...YUM!
Visiting and getting to hold Mollee.
Meeting Mollee for the first time.
Some of the activities with gpa and gma included getting to go to McDonald's for lunch, shopping at Kmart, going to Sweet Tooth Fairy, having dinner on the patio with family, staying up late, roller skating and hanging out with gma in the basement!  We enjoyed our visit and were glad that Gpa and Gma were able to come and meet Mollee and visit with all of us.

More with Gpa and Gma Schoonie

A few more pictures from our visit with gpa and gma Schoonie.
Trying out gpa's glasses.  Ruby was curious about the flip sunglasses.
Continuing our tradition of eating Haagen Dazs bars with Gpa.  This tradition began at Walt Disney World.
Mollee you have lots of admirers!

The Wait is Over!!

Grandpa and Grandma Schoonie gave Ruby roller skates for her birthday last October. Grandma told Ruby she had them for her on her birthday and Ruby has been anxiously awaiting their arrival. They were hand delivered last week by Grandpa and Grandma. Ruby could not wait to put them on. In true Ruby form she has NO fear in them. She immediately tried them out. She wanted to show Noelle who was working at the time so she made her way down and back up our outside basement stairs (I did not realize she was doing this until afterwards:). Needless to say she is having a lot of fun in them!
I think they are so cute.  They are the style that you would find in roller skating rink.

I Love Lucie

I like how Mollee is looking up at Lucie.

Brave Grammie

Mom was so brave to let 5 grand kids help her stain the swing set. She kept telling us she was going to let the kids help her. Noelle and I kept giving her a bad time that she never let us help her paint when we were young! After the first few minutes of letting the kids help I think she was regretting her decision! She was really patient and continued to let them help. On day 2 I think she was grateful no children were around and she was able to finish it up in less time!  Thanks mom for letting them help and work with you!

Dad's Girls

Ruby loves Trent so much. She can't wait for him to get home from work and she is really sad if she misses him in the morning. She likes to call and text him. She always wants to speak to him on speaker phone.  A couple of pictures that show Ruby hanging out by Dad and sharing his lap with Mollee.
