It is the beginning of the Christmas season and a time to keep with traditions. I love this time of year where the whole month of December seems like it has some ritual of things we like to do in preparation for and enjoyment of the Christmas holiday!! Here a few of the fun things we have already enjoyed doing...

24 days of socks...my cousin gave me this idea last year and it worked out so good. Everyday we take down a sock that has something in it...sometimes it is a small gift, a service opportunity, an activity to do as a family, a scripture or story to read, etc...The "reindeers or elves" leave something everynight. Lucie and Jack were so excited to put the socks up this year. It is a fun tradition!
And of course putting up Christmas lights...Lucie and Jack were very excited to do this last Friday. Lucie was a great help holding the lights for Trent and Jack was very excited to climb the ladder. Every time we turned around he was at the top again!
