One of the great things about vacation was that we did a lot of walking everyday...we walked at the Rose Bowl (our car was a least a couple of miles from the stadium), we walked at DisneyLand, and we walked to the beach. Everytime we were walking up the hill from the beach I would get this song line stuck in my head (my own version of the song), "these legs were made for walking and that's just what they are going to do!" It was so nice to walk and have it not feel like exercise! This week it has been back to reality and walking at the track...at least I have someone to go with!
Walking to the beach...
This is actually on the San Clemente pier and you could see through some of the boards down to the water (not a comfortable feeling). When Jack was walking he looked down and got a little scared, but he did so good because he would carefully step to the next board without walking on the crack.
Lucie enjoyed this mode of transportation quite a bit...I am sure that Trent is glad that his shoulders have a rest now!
