Mr. Finnegan's Giving Chest is a book that we love and wanted to recommend it to anyone who has not seen it and/or read it before. It conveys the message that so many Christmas books do of giving, but the way this story is told is really good. We love the way the little girl in this book discovers the true meaning of giving.
And while talking about books we are so excited because we just finished reading Lucie her first chapter book that she can recall (we read chapter books to her when she was a baby as well). We read SuperFudge and she loved it (we had to omit some items, especially in the chapter about Santa Claus), but other than that she thought the character of Fudge was hilarious! It was so cute to listen to her laugh at the funny parts!
