We purchased new ice skates for both Lucie and Ruby in February. Lucie grew out of her 1st pair of skates and was also ready for additional support as she works on her jumps and spins this year. Ruby received her 1st pair of skates. She had patiently been waiting and was super excited!
Lucie earned/saved 2000 points on her job chart to get skates. I was really impressed with her discipline in doing her jobs and working towards getting the skates.
The first night that Ruby was out on the ice with sharpened skates (rental skates are never sharpened) she scared me a bit. She was cruising around so fast. She is a little speed demon who is NOT afraid of the ice at all. Luckily we made it through another 6 week session with no injury's with her.
