Happy 7th Birthday Jackers

My Jackers Crackers turned 7. Seriously dude when did you get to be this old?!? Jack just began 1st grade. He is doing really well at transitioning to going to school all day. He is super responsible and if it's possible maybe too responsible. His planner personality is coming out in full force. He keeps us all on task...we have to leave the house at 8 sharp, he makes sure all of his homework is done and in his bag the night before.  He is also loving school lunch.  Not all days, but he reviews the lunch calendar frequently to decide and re-evaluate when he is going to eat!  I miss having Jack at home.  He was my side kick for so long.  It is strange to have him at school, but I am really glad that he is enjoying it and doing so well.
On to his birthday.  We celebrated with the family a few days early and then had a hang out day on his birthday (see this post).
This is a collage of his gifts and reactions.  He was very excited and happy with all his gifts.  He received a big BYU sticker for his room, a Cosmo poster and kids club membership.  He was very excited to know that he gets to go to a football game.  Ovards gave him hairspray and gel, which he was thrilled about.  He had been pricing those things with Noelle because he wanted his own so I couldn't tell him that he was putting too much hairspray on!  He received $, which he was ecstatic about.  He wanted an ipod of some sort and speaker so he could break dance.  We found an iHome speaker on KSL that he purchased and then a used nano.  He had 27 cents left.  He was so responsible with using his money.  He loves having music in his room.  His room has become a gym and can get a bit warm when all 5 friends are rockin out in there.  Thanks to family for all the nice gifts.

It started to rain in the middle of the party.

This is Jackers I can't believe it face over his gifts.
After his party he was worried that he received too much and wanted to give my parents back they money that he had given him.  This summarizes Jack.  He has a really good heart.

He looks like the joker with his red punch lips.  Jack choose to have hot dogs with jdawg sauce and asked my dad to deep fry tater tots and onion rings.

The hockey stick ice cream cake with BYU blue frosting.  It had strawberry ice cream inside.

On the day of his birthday with a cookie and all ready to watch the BYU game.

Jack's class made him a BIG card.  It takes up a whole wall in his bedroom.  So nice!  Just so I don't forget if you look closely there are few signatures from girls that wrote "I Love You Jack" and then drew pictures (stick figures) of them holding hands.  Too funny.  It reminds me of 1st grade and playing kissing tag!
