Easter

Easter weekend was pretty calm around our house. We didn't do too much. On Easter morning we had an Easter egg hunt with my parents and Ovards. After church we had Easter dinner together. That's what I was looking forward too...yummy food. Ham sandwiches, deviled eggs, veggies n'dip, poppyseed cake. It was all delicious!

Ruby took a picture of her Easter basket from playgroup.  They dyed eggs and received candy all in this basket.  She had looked forward to the Easter party at school all week.

Woo-hoo

A favorite activity is painting the playhouse with water.  The kids received new paint brushes so they were excited to try them out and to have water in the sand for the first time this year.

The girls all ready for church.  The Easter bunny brought the wrong size outfit for Jack.  It was a bit of a bummer.  He was not too happy and for awhile was not going to church.  When he decided to come down for church he had dressed himself in a plaid on plaid ensemble.  I wanted so badly to take a picture, but he was already on edge.  He had on blue plaid shorts and a brown plaid shirt on and they were both on the small side.  He has grown quite a bit since last Summer so the shorts were above his knee.  He felt comfortable going to church in it so I let it be.  When we walked in I could see the smile on my mom's face checking out his outfit.  It was classic moment and it made me smile!  This week we went through his closet and cleaned out all the small items.
