My friends have enjoyed a much needed break from school and routines this week. The first of the week brought record temps. On Monday my friends were chopping at the bit to turn on water. At the end of the day they made a mud hole in the sand box and had a blast lathering themselves in sand and water! They played outside both Monday and Tuesday from morning til night. It was sweet!

Trent had Wednesday-Friday off of work. It was so nice to have him at home. We had a good balance of free time, working on house projects (especially cleaning up our basement), and activities. Trent did the majority of everything since I am not supposed to do too much. He reorganized all of the toys in our basement, cleaned out junk, ran errands, ran our friends to play dates, took our friends skating two days, made meals, and kept our house in tack! He is certainly Super Dad for sure!
Back to regular routine tomorrow. It's crazy though Jack only has 20 days left of school and Lucie 30! It will be Summer break before we know it.
